DSG recognizes the placement of its graduates as one of the major objectives of its programmes and proactively creates greater placement opportunities. The DSG Placement Cell, an integral part of the Office of Corporate Relations (OCR), coordinates final placements, summer internships, industry interactions, association with professional bodies and career support services for the students. OCR conducts its activities through the Director and other Executives, who are assisted by a placement committee chosen from the students. The primary responsibilities of the committee include supporting programmes such as career counseling and pre-placement training for students, long term activities such as promoting relations with the recruiters, working on a positioning strategy for short term activities such as interfacing with relevant faculty to frame placement related policies, planning and executing the summer and final placements.
The Duxford Skill Garden Career Development and Mentorship (DSG-CDM) program is a holistic initiative aimed at supporting participants throughout their learning journey and career preparation. Through DSG-CDM, participants receive mentorship from skilled professionals, industry experts, and experienced alumni. The program provides career counseling, skills development workshops, and targeted placement training to help individuals make informed career decisions.
